Goreme Open Air Museum

Göreme Open Air Museum is recognised as the place where today’s monastic education system began.  Girls and Boys Monastery, St. Basileus Church, Elmalı Church, St. Barbara Church, Snake Church, Dark Church, Çarıklı Church and Buckled Church can be visited within the ruins.

 

Kaymakli Underground city

This underground city, which dates back to 3000 BC, was built during the Hittite Empire. It was expanded and transformed into an underground city during the Roman and Byzantine periods.

 

Soğanlı valley

The Soğanlı valley between Kayseri and Nevşehir stands out with its Roman-era places of worship and old rock-carved places. When we go to this region with many different rock formations in the valley, you will witness things that will fascinate you.

 

Ancient city of Sobesos

Discovered in 2002, the Sobesos Ruins bear the most distinctive traces of the Roman period in the Cappadocia region. There are mosaics and columns made with ornamental art in the tourable area. It is home to a burial chamber where a mummified male corpse was found.

 

Keslik Monastery

The Keşlik Monastery complex includes two churches, a chapel, a winery, a winery, and a cloth mill, all of which were designed to meet the needs of the people. There are many hand-painted frescoes in the undamaged area inside the church.

Ortahisar Castle

Ortahisar castle, which is the largest fairy chimney in the Cappadocia region, was carved in the Hittite period and turned into an exploration surveillance castle, offers you a unique view of Ortahisar and Kızılçukur.
