During the onxy workshop visit, we will see how Cappadocia’s special stones are processed and transformed into accessories such as rings, necklaces and vases.

Kaymakli Underground City

This underground city, which dates back to 3000 BC, was built during the Hittite Empire. It was expanded and transformed into an underground city during the Roman and Byzantine periods.

Valley of the Monasteries

The valley of the monasteries stands out as the most dense area of places of worship in the Cappadocia region. The Monasteries valley, which contains 28 churches, 2 underground cities and hundreds of rock-carved places, dates back to the second century.

Ihlara Valley

Ihlara Valley, the largest and longest valley in Turkey, is a place where history and nature turn into works of art together. In the Ihlara valley, which has a total of 105 churches, only 14 of these churches are open. In this valley where the Melendiz stream passes, we will also take a break in the gazebos built on the water.

Lunch at Belisirma

We will take a break for lunch in the Belisırma region, which is built on the Melendiz river in the Ihlara valley.

Selime Monastery

Selime Monastery, the largest cathedral in the Cappadocia region, consists of two floors carved into the rock. In the cathedral, the Ascension of Jesus and the figures of the Virgin Mary will appear. The first loud mass was also held in Selime Cathedral.

On this tour covering the southern part of the Cappadocia region, you will witness how history and nature are in harmony. This tour, which will be accompanied by a professional tour guide who has a good command of the southern Cappadocia region, starts at 09:30 when we pick you up from the hotel. You can be picked up at an earlier time at your request.
The best part of this special tour for you will be the chance to visit the monasteries valley. You will have plenty of time at every point to visit and feel the texture at all points. You will be travelling in a VIP vehicle that will be specially allocated to you throughout the whole process.
The tour will end with us leaving you to your hotel at 17:00.
